Commune, the LA design studio responsible for interiors of The Ace Hotel and Swim Club in Palm Springs, Farmshop at the Brentwood Country Mart, and the hip Hollywood eatery Ammo to name but a few of its many projects, recently launched its first furniture line with the eco-friendly Environment Furniture. The centerpiece is a modular system of “Cleatboxes” which ups the ante—way up—on your college milk crate “storage system.” These 16-inch crates come in solid oak or walnut and are outfitted with sleek brass interlocking fixtures.
