Clockwise from top: Pierre Hardy’s polished leather sandal, $835,; Art Moderne silver mirrored bangle bracelets by René Boivin, price available upon request, from Siegelson at Bergdorf Goodman, New York, 212.753.7300; De Beers’s 18k white gold and diamond ring, $18,000, at De Beers, New York, 800.929.0889,; Devi Kroell’s wood clutch with studs, $1,590, at Devi Kroell, East Hampton, 631.329.2700,

Forget the boardroom. Power dressing has become an evening affair, thanks to strong accessories with a surplus of sass. Not to mention flash, as in De Beers’s diamond-encrusted chunk of a cocktail ring, and René Boivin’s weighty mirrored bracelets, which co-opt bold, disco-ball glitz sans the retro schmaltz. Things are sharp and sleek with considerably less sparkle at Devi Kroell, where a dainty clutch packs a pint-size punch, toughened up with black wood and silver studs. And anyone in the mood to make a dynamic statement should step into Pierre Hardy’s black leather sandal. Perched atop a sculptural, stakelike heel, it’s nothing if not assertive.
