Gigi X Weitzman X Franco: Gigi Hadid Gets in the Ring with Stuart Weitzman and James Franco
Supermodel Gigi Hadid expands her designing chops by collaborating with Stuart Weitzman on the Gigi Boot.
The social multi-hyphenate supermodel Gigi Hadid has been keeping herself busy – first, she co-designed a collection with with Tommy Hilfiger dubbed Tommy X Gigi , with round two is on the way; she’s a budding photographer, like so many other models these days; she’s busy fighting off pesky attackers; and she’s off course stomping on runways from New York to Paris. Now, she is turning her attention to accessories.
Stuart Weitzman’s boots have become a bit of a phenomenon, with a plethora of It girls wearing the over-the-knee versions, and editors and stylists relying on the same style to navigate the snow fall of last February’s New York Fashion Week.
In her collaboration, Hadid was inspired by Weitzman’s easy touch with boots, but the model wanted something that reflected her own personal street style. Sleek and fashion forward, the boot Hadid helped create is a hiking boot with stacked heel, offered in metallic silver, copper, and a crocodile embossed leather.

As we learned in Milan, when Hadid’s skills unfortunately came in handy as she knocked out an attacker, the supermodel loves boxing and training. To launch the collaboration, Hadid took to the ring in an exclusive video directed by James Franco.
