Roger Vivier brand ambassador Inès de la Fressange channels her wanderlust into a series of new bags.
Inès de la Fressange loves to reminisce about her travels: the trip to Zanzibar when, “like Robinson Crusoe,” she devoured a shark that had recently been pulled ashore; the visit to the Maharaja of Jaipur’s country house—a “castle in the desert,” where the bathtubs had to be filled using buckets. “It was like the 1930s!” As the brand ambassador for Roger Vivier, the style icon has channeled her wanderlust into an array of Miss Viv’ bags. The beads on the Nippon-nimayu recall cherry trees in Japan; the sequins on the Swinging London echo the city’s vibrancy. ���I haven’t been to Santa Fe,” she says of the Mademoiselle de la Frange, a fringed favorite. “But in my mind, it’s full of rich artists and eccentrics.”
