Scent My Ride

I got to test-drive the new Mercedes-Benz S550 this summer, and it was like being in a spa on wheels. The front seats have six massage settings, and the passenger seat literally embraces you in a safe hug on curves. My favorite part, though, is the tiny atomizer hidden in the glove compartment into which you can plop one of four MB-supplied scents—Nightlife Mood, Sports Mood, Downtown Mood, Freeside Mood—or one of your own. That is my kind of new-car smell.
