When: Thursday, June 25th

Where: The Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Who: The guests of honor were joined by Klaus Biesenbach, the director of MoMA PS1 and Chief Curator at Large at the Museum of Modern Art; Yoko Ono, whose retrospective Yoko Ono: One Woman Show, 1960-1971, is currently on exhibition at the museum; Thelma Golden, the Director and Chief Curator of The Studio Museum in Harlem; and the dance collective Flex Is Kings, who performed at the gala.

Why: Earlier this week, 82-year-old Ono held a party at MoMA in honor of the summer solstice from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m.—but she was ready to rage again, even standing on top of the table during dinner.
