Flamingo pink, rose-gold, cotton candy ...there are endless ways to rock spring's most Instagram-friendly hair color and endless celebrities who've done it. Hailey Baldwin, for example, tried out a pink lemonade variation of the trendy shade earlier this year, while Emma Roberts just debuted her version of the uber-popular millennial pink fad. And now Paris Jackson is the latest star to partake, but this time, she settled for a look that's much sunnier compared to the others: peach hair. With the possible exception of rose-gold, the trendy pink hair colors right now are all on the more pastel side, and even rose-gold is more rose than gold. Jackson's new 'do, however, injects just the right amount of warmth, making it the perfect way to pull off the pink hair trend well into the summer.
On Monday, celebrity hairstylist Riawna Capri uploaded a photo of Jackson to her Instagram. "This is not a filter, this is #PeachyParis ?," she wrote in the caption, "looking like a Bali Sunrise ?." That description is definitely spot-on. For her peachier take on the trend, she gave Jackson warm copper tresses threaded through with hints of pink, tangerine, and orange.
Capri isn't the only stylist trying out this summery hair in early spring. In March, Maryland-based colorist Kasey Oh gave one of her clients a slightly more subdued take on what Capri ended up giving Jackson. Calling it a copper peach ombré melt, Oh said she was tired of cool tones and wanted to "bring some warmth into people’s hair this year." She then transformed her client's hair, blonde with purple streaks and a dark root, into the dessert-like shade by lightening the roots with 20 volume developer, stripping out the purple with Pulp Riot Blank Canvas, and layering two demi-permanent Schwarzkopf dyes for 20 minutes.
