Rose Byrne Takes Crochet to the Red Carpet

What: A royal blue crocheted dress from Derek Lam’s Fall 2016 collection with Tejen gold earrings.
Why: Previous celebrities have tried — and failed — to pull off pieces from Derek Lam Fall 2016, a notoriously tough one to translate from runway to red carpet, but Byrne makes it work. She dresses up the open-weave gown, which was paired with chunky black shoes on Lam’s runway, with gold stilettos and an art deco-inspired box clutch, and she polishes the premiere night look (complete with the requisite hint of sparkle) with a Bardot-esque teased coif.
