Boys! Boys! Boys! Jeffrey Fashion Cares Brings Out Modeling's Best
Everyone goes to Jeffrey Kalinsky's annual fundraiser Jeffrey Cares nominally because it's a good cause, to raise money for HIV/AIDS research. But the real draw is the racy men's fashion shows that culminates the evening. On Monday night at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, a crowd that included designers Brandon Maxwell, Paul Andrew and Thom Browne and models Catherine McNeil, Ming Xi and Cora Emmanuel put up with several hours of cocktail-hour mingling, a well-meaning if long-winded speech by the activist Peter Staley - the event's honoree - and an exhausting live auction just to see the likes of Clark Bockelman, River Viiperi, and Chad White strut their stuff in the tiniest of speedos. But, remember, it's all for a good cause...
