LOEWE Celebrates 180 Years With a Star-Studded Campaign
The storied Spanish house tapped Julia Garner, Sissy Spacek, Giselle, and more to model its iconic bags as reimagined by creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez.
180 years ago, LOEWE (meaning “lion”) was a new Spanish fashion house operating out of a small workshop in Madrid. Today, it’s an internationally recognized name adored by some of our favorite stars.
The Amazona 180 was first released in 1975 amidst a societal and cultural shift. It was designed for a new era of women entering the workforce in Spain. The house icon is reimagined by creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez to mark the occasion, with a new slouchier form and a single top handle.
