In 1812, Abraham-Louis Breguet delivered what is purported to be the very first wristwatch to Caroline Murat, Queen of Naples and sister to Napoleon Bonaparte. The watch itself has been lost to the ages, but Breguet’s legacy lives on in the modern-day Reine de Naples timepiece.
Breguet’s modern Reine of Naples collection is modeled after the elegance of its namesake, who wanted an oblong-shaped watch that she could wear on her wrist.
