To celebrate this milestone, the designer looked to the brand’s roots: “There’s a sense of timelessness and big-city optimism that has been a linchpin of Michael Kors since the very beginning,” he said. “Something that’s laid-back and at the same time luxurious.”
With New York City as the backdrop, the brand’s 40th anniversary collection is all about making every moment — no matter how small — feel remarkable.
Elegant silhouettes and bold prints channel the energy of the city. Shearling coats in zebra stripes, super-soft cashmere turtlenecks, and evening gowns with mirrored embroidery were shown against the neon glow of Times Square.
