Model Mania: L’Oreal Paris Throws Blue Obsession Party in Cannes
The most celebrated people in film are currently in Cannes for the city’s annual film festival, but very few of them attended the L’Oreal Paris “Blue Obsession” party on the roof of the Grand Hyatt Hotel Martinez last night. Instead, the beauty company drew upon its endless supply of “brand spokespeople” (also known as models), including Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes, Soo Joo Park, Barbara Palvin, Natasha Poly and Lara Stone. Plus, two of its “men’s experts,” Formula One race driver Lewis Hamilton and Lucky Blue Smith, who was on-theme without even dressing up. Others wore various shades to match the Cote d’Azur: Lily Donaldson in Stella McCartney, Chanel Iman in pink-and-blue Ralph and Russo, and Park in a teal Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2004 couture dress. Later in the night, Kroes was presented with a cake in celebration of her 10-year anniversary with L’Oreal. Weinstein who?
