Crimped Hair Is Poised to Make a Comeback This Fall
Of all the retro influences on the fall 2016 runways, crimped hair made me the most nostalgic. Variations could be seen at Gucci, Veronique Branquinho, and, most notably, Vanessa Seward, where the rippled texture added height at the crown and gave a spirited wave to the ponytails. But it wasn’t always so chic. Here, an exploration of crimped hair’s recent past.
