At last night’s annual De Grisogono fete at the Cannes Film Festival, guests including Milla Jovovich, Angela Lindvall, Chris Tucker, Paris Hilton, Natasha Poly, and Chanel Iman gathered in the gardens of the Hotel Du Cap to enjoy champagne and hors d’oeuvres amidst vitrines of diamonds on display. Soon after, they filtered into the main dining hall, which was decorated appropriately like an extravagant Russian wedding, complete with shiny table cloths and crystal candelabras. While many Cannes fixtures were in attendance (see: Harvey Weinstein and Robert DeNiro), the event attracted newcomers as well, such as Bella Hadid and Kim Kardashian, the latter of whom flew to Cannes from New York especially for the event. “When I think of Cannes, I think of how it’s super glamorous,” said Kardashian, in between talking to Weinstein, who was seated across from her.“There’s no better event than this, and it has all the glamour of Cannes. I leave tomorrow morning, so this trip is in and out, but I’ve been living vicariously through my mom and my sister who have been here. Seeing all that they’ve been up to here seems like so much fun.” She was adorned with a diamond necklace and large emerald ring, courtesy of De Grisogono, of course, and dressed in a crystal gown from Chinese designer Lan Yu. After dinner, guests danced until the wee hours of the morning, but Kardashian remained perched near De Grisogono CEO Fawaz Gruosi. “It’s hard to get up in this dress,” she admitted.
