STREET STYLE

It’s Easy to Match the Art at Frieze New York 2016

Visitors to Frieze New York over the weekend demonstrated an uncanny coordination with the art that surrounded them. Black-and-white geometric patterns garments rubbed up against similarly monochromatic art, while neutral beige and army green showed up on the walls and on attendees. Street style wasn’t just about the colors, though: Attendees showed off the season’s ’90s-inspired trends, like worn-in denim jackets and a knack for pairing streetwear with more polished pieces.
