Designed by Reed Krakoff’s wife, Delphine, the RK felt chair “has an organic, crafted feel but a very strict shape,” says Krakoff. “It really became a proxy for the rhythm of the clothing collection, sort of a warm minimalist approach.”
Mattia Bonetti’s Manhattan lamp is die-cut rock crystal that has been nailed together. “I like that he’s taking something precious and treating it in quite a brutalistic way,” says Krakoff.
According to Bonetti, his lacquer and acrylic Houston table “is about transparency and opacity.”
Krakoff calls Bonetti’s chrome and glass Tokyo table “very polished.”
Joris Laarman’s Bone Chaise is inspired by the way bones develop to efficiently support weight. “What interested me particularly is that it has this great scale and sensuality but is made out of an industrial material: polyurethane resin,” says Krakoff.
