Kirsten Dunst Rewore a Vintage Christian Lacroix Dress From 2004

Who wore it better: Kirsten Dunst or Kirsten Dunst?

Well, so much for, who wore it better.

Kirsten Dunst stepped out in Paris this past weekend, donning a white lacy dress that to the eye of an informed observer ought to have looked awfully familiar. Turns out, the actress previously debuted the very same dress at a Vanity Fair Oscars party back in 2004.

So, when wore it better?

The first time Dunst wore the vintage Christian Lacroix minidress, she paired it with very short hair, red pumps, and layered sparkling necklaces. For the second go, the red carpet regular didn’t change course completely, finishing the look with a reminiscent pair of necklaces. She did up the sophistication factor, thanks to a pair of black ankle-strap heels, a sleek updo that swept all but one soft wave of hair out of her face, and a crisp black blazer. You know what they say: With age comes wisdom, and the diminished desire to feel chilly at parties.

Circa 2004, Dunst accessorized with some very different arm candy this time around. While reports recently surfaced of her engagement to Fargo costar Jesse Plemons, the actress was going steady with Jake Gyllenhaal back in the day and the couple made a joint appearance at the Oscars bash.

This time around, Dunst went sans significant other, instead mingling with fellow guests like Juliette Binoche.

Whatever inspired the outfit redux, the Hidden Figures actress looks to be a fashion repeater after our own hearts.
