Lana Del Rey Confirms She’s Dating “Hot Cop” Sean Larkin Over Grammys Weekend

Lana Del Rey and her “hot cop” boyfriend, Sean Larkin, made their official red-carpet debut as a couple over Grammys weekend.

Everyone knows that Grammys weekend is never just about the awards and accolades handed out to recording artists—it’s about showing up in a fly look and possibly even making your debut as a couple on the red carpet.

At least, the latter was the case this year for Lana Del Rey. Grammy weekend was an opportunity for the nominee to confirm to her fans (and casual listeners) that yes, she is, in fact, dating that “hot cop” you weren’t so sure about.

Del Rey, who was nominated for Album of the Year and Song of the Year at the 2020 Grammys, arrived arm in arm with Sean Larkin, a police officer whose Instagram bio reads “Full time popo 👮🏻Part time crossfitter,” at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala on January 25. She also showed up at the official Grammy Awards ceremony the following evening with Larkin by her side.

The red-carpet debut comes just four months after paparazzi caught the singer and Larkin strolling in Central Park. Del Rey did not publicly acknowledge the relationship until she shared a snap of herself with Larkin in December, causing her fans to work themselves into a tizzy over the fact that she’s dating a silver-fox cop from Oklahoma. (Larkin, however, has been sharing photos of himself with Del Rey on his own account for months.)

Larkin—who goes by the nickname Sticks, for some reason—isn’t a stranger to the limelight, however. He is an analyst for an Emmy-winning documentary series on A&E TV called Live PD and hosts A&E TV’s PD Cam.

At the end of the day, though, no one should be surprised that Del Rey’s man is ultimately just a normie. She said it herself, when she opened up in a 2019 Billboard interview about the process of writing her Grammy-nominated album Norman Fucking Rockwell!, that she identifies strongly with basic culture: “When the writing has got me, I’m on its schedule. But when it leaves me alone, I’m just at Starbucks, talking shit all day.”
