In “Double Bill,” Roe Ethridge’s new show at Greengrassi gallery in London, the photographer gives much deserved props to, who else, his long-time prop stylist, set designer and close friend Andy Harmon. “The show is comprised of works about Andy, works with Andy, and works for Andy,” explains Ethridge, of the images and delectable still lives (think shiny salmon roe and plastic water bottles). “He is my muse, but I think it goes both ways for Andy and I. I am inspired by him and he’s inspired by me.” Fair-haired model Louise Parker also makes a cameo appearance in the exhibition as the only reoccurring character. “I liked the idea that she was this kind of guest star on our television show,” says Ethridge. “It was a touch of humor that also hinted at the way I envisioned about the whole show. A singular vision created by synchronized voices.”

“Double Bill” is on view until February 28that Greengrassi gallery, 1a Kempsford Road, London, +44.020.7840.9101.
