Monica Rose is one of the most followed stylists on Instagram for good reason–she’s the woman behind the wardrobe of Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Khloe Kardashian, and Chrissy Teigen, to name a few. Keeping up with the Kardashians and friends and what they are wearing is tough work, though, and for the holidays, she has decided to take a much deserved break. “I’m keeping it low key as I’m nine months pregnant. I’m planning to stay in with my family and new bundle of joy!” she said.

But that doesn’t mean that she hasn’t been busy prepping New Year’s Eve looks for her clients. “I collaborate with each client – we pick our favorites off the rack from the selection I pulled and build from there. We send inspiration back and forth, or I send them options to get feedback on what vibe we can create together.” This holiday season, the stylist wishes that women would bring the glamour back. “Wear a sparkle jumpsuit or metal mesh dress, fun accessories and a fabulous coat,” she said. “I think the key is to wear something that fits your personality and to dress for your body type. Don’t dress to what’s trending. Confidence is key. Less is more! Keep it sexy, but classy.”

So what does that mean for Kendall Jenner, Kaia Gerber and Gigi Hadid this New Year’s Eve? What will they be wearing? “It seems like everyone is pretty low key this year, but you’ll just have to wait and see!”

Here, Rose dishes on her personal style–off the red carpet.
