Altuzarra Fall 2015’s Hot and Cool Customers
“Every season, Joseph creates a new woman in terms of clothing. The one thing I notice: His woman is always caliente,” says the makeup artist behind Altuzarra’s Fall 2015 beauty look, Tom Peycheaux. “His woman is always really hot and sexy and, to balance out that very warm body, I thought the face needed to be a bit turned down and feel cold.” To cool things off, he mattified skin with MAC Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder over Studio Waterweight Foundation and muted the lip with grey eyeshadow from MAC’s Trend Forecast Eye palette (available for Fall 2015). Lids got copper shadow from the Fall 2015 palette on the outer edges, Grey Paint Stick on the inside corners, and Studio Eye Gloss in Very Violet (new for Fall 2015) blending the two hues in the center. Nail artist Julie Kandalec did what she calls a “modern French manicure,” using one coat of Essie’s Adorable and allowing the white of the natural nail edge to shine through. And stylist Odile Gilbert gave the hair a wet look using Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream and Hairspray and wrapped it into a bun. “There is no inspiration,” Gilbert says. “It’s just a beautiful girl with nothing to hide.”
