A manic and wildly imaginative mess of video, found objects, intense makeup, electro music, and nearly nonsensical dialogue, Ryan Trecartin and Lizzie Fitch’s exhibition “Any Ever” was described by The New York Times as “game-changing” when it opened at MoMA PS1 last spring. At the very least, it is an amusing (and somewhat terrifying) reflection of the hyper-caffeinated digital age we live in. In case you missed the extravaganza, which also had runs in L.A, Miami, and Toronto, it is now headed to Europe, opening tomorrow through January 8, 2012, at the Musée d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris—the invitation for which features a photograph from W’s profile on Trecartin in the November 2010 Art issue.
