Anti-Frieze: Scenes from Bushwick Open Studios
Over the weekend, Brooklyn was a hive of activity thanks to Bushwick Open Studios (BOS)—a public arts festival hosted by a growing network of local art spaces and cooperatives. In its tenth year, BOS has grown to monumental proportions thanks in part to the growing number of galleries that now call this neighborhood home. Highlights included the fresh offerings at the NEWD art show and extremist projects like the 24-hour cantina run by artist collective Sky Fortress.
