Frieze New York 2016: Randall’s Island’s Hall of Mirrors
Just like its art fair predecessors earlier this year, Frieze New York can be a bit like stepping through the looking glass. Mirrored works are so commonplace amid the booths that now they’re literally walking through the fair, too, thanks to Eduardo Navarro’s Frieze Projects models. Not that anyone’s complaining: After all, if you make the schlep to Randall’s Island but don’t take a selfie, were you ever really there?
