Meet the It Girls of the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival


Dree Hemingway

The Tribeca Film Festival lineup this year is stacked with rising stars. Some are on their second major feature, like Bel Powley and Lola Kirke, then there are musicians Zoe Kravitz and Sky Ferreira, plus model-turned-actress, Dree Hemingway. It’s an eclectic mix of talent, adding some fresh female faces to an already jam-packed festival schedule. Here, the nine names to know.

What: The model-turned-actress stars as Nadine in “Live Cargo,” a film about a couple’s dramatic journey to the Bahamas.

What: The Canadian actress, seen most recently in “The Martian,” stars in Sophia Takal’s psychological thriller, “Always Shine,” with Caitlin FitzGerald from “Masters of Sex.”
