Anita of New York

If one is looking for such things, a city of jutting skyscrapers can seem rather phallic. In “Anita of New York,” a new exhibition of Anita Steckel’s collages opening this week at The Suzanne Geiss Company, the late feminist artist—who once bedded a young Marlon Brando—gets it on with all of Manhattan.
“Anita of New York” runs from November 2 – December 7, 2013, at The Suzanne Geiss Company, 76 Grand St in New York.
