Hollywood isn’t the only town with high-wattage game when it comes to doling out golden statuettes. This past weekend, London proved its chops with a slew of events surrounding Sunday night’s British Academy of Film and Television awards ceremony. On Friday, Charles Finch, CEO of Finch & Partners, and Chanel hosted a pre-BAFTA dinner (their sixteenth annual such to-do) at the swanky private club Annabel’s. Tom Cruise schmoozed with nominees like Amy Adams and Reese Witherspoon. Meanwhile, over in the Mayfair area of town, The Weinstein Company and Burberry threw their own supper at Little House, drawing Immy Waterhouse (younger sister of Suki) and former Prince Harry flame Cressida Bonas. Weinstein (the man and the company) was at it again Sunday night after the actual BAFTAs with a party throw in conjunction with Jimmy Choo and Grey Goose at the Roosewood London.
