Open for Business: Bitmoji Fashion

Bitmoji Marc Jacobs

Bitmoji, an app that allows users to build personalized avatars, has been gaining steam in the fashion community since launching in 2014. (It counts Victoria Beckham, Lena Dunham and even W‘s fashion and style director Edward Enninful amongst its fans.) Even though every aspect of a Bitmoji is customizable–from breast size to hair length–the outfit options, at least initially, were limited. Until now. Starting today, the app is launching Bitmoji Fashion, which will include an extended selection of outfits–and 3 Fall 2015 outfits chosen by W’s editors. “Style and social media are both about self-expression, and our collaboration with Bitmoji approaches fashion in a fun, playful way,” explains Enninful. “We’ve curated some of our favorite pieces from the fall runways and I’m excited to see how our readers infuse their personalities into these looks.” Here, model Tami Williams wears the Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs, and Calvin Klein collection ensembles. Try them on yourself by downloading the Bitmoji app.
