Cannes Film Festival 2016: Top 10 Women of the Red Carpet

Jessica Chastain

Over the course of the Cannes Film Festival‘s two weeks, the biggest movie stars from across the globe descended on the red carpet, competing for the spotlight. Hundreds of looks, including those from designers like Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Marchesa, and Givenchy, all made appearances, but a few stood out from the rest for their distinct combination of classic movie premiere glamour with a bit of edge. Soo Joo Park in Jean Paul Gaultier archives, a look from the designer’s 2004 couture collection, Kirsten Dunst in custom Maison Margiela, Léa Seydoux in any number of Nicolas Ghesquière ensembles — these are the top 10 looks of the Cannes Film Festival 2016.
