CFDA Fashion Awards 2016

Not dates in the traditional sense — at the 2016 CFDA Fashion Awards, designers showed up with their model, actor, and musician pals wearing their wares. As every year, there was the requisite cohort of Proenza Schouler fans, Jack McCullough and Lazaro Hernandez making brief red carpet appearances; the Olsens of The Row showed up with little sister Elizabeth. But even designers who weren’t among the night’s nominees still set out with their closest comrades-in-fashion: Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer of Broad City made their mark in Rebecca Minkoff (with the designer at their side, of course), while Christian Siriano dressed ’90s ladies Selma Blair and Alicia Silverstone. Here, see a few of our favorites, including Lena Dunham’s bunny slippers and Lindsay Wixson’s matching kimono set.
