Photos: Chanel Tribeca Film Festival Artists Dinner

At W, we love a heady cocktail of fashion, art and film, which is why we always look forward to the Chanel Tribeca Film Festival Artists Dinner. This year Robert Longo, Jose Parla, and William Wegman rubbed shoulders, literally (someone at the Odeon, where the dinner is held, must have an in with the fire marshal) with the likes of Joan Smalls, Dree Hemingway, Uma Thurman, and Michael Pitt over glasses of champagne and plates of steak frites. Oh, and that bottleneck that formed in the bar early on in the evening was not the fault of the over taxed staff: it was caused by all the ladies lining up to use the Chanel vending machine that dispensed free lipstick, perfume, nail polish and blush.
