Ever since Charlize Theron singlehandedly saved action movies with Mad Max: Fury Road, she’s been similarly unstoppable on the red carpet. As the longtime face of Dior’s fragrance J’adore Dior, she has regularly called on the label to outfit her for some of her more glamorous outings, relying on designs from the Raf Simons days through to Maria Grazia Chiuri’s current tenure. An apparent fan of old-school silhouettes with an edgy, contemporary upgrade, Theron commanded Cannes in a canary-yellow gown for the 2015 premiere of Mad Max, while at the 2016 festival, she opted instead for a daring tuxedo for the premiere of The Last Face. More recently, with the premieres of The Huntsman: Winter’s War and Fast and Furious 8, Theron has mixed up her Dior looks with ensembles by Gucci, Saint Laurent, and Altuzarra, capably traversing between casual tops and skirts and statement formalwear. (Theron seems to love a deep plunging neckline, too.) See the Oscar-winner and action star in her sequined, silk, and tuxedo finest, here.
