It’s that time again–spring break. But, no, we’re not talking about the wet ‘n’ wild kind of ritual associated with the college days. Adam Lippes: Turks and Caicos
“I just returned from the Amanyara in Turks and Caicos, a place I’ve always admired from afar but hadn’t experienced. It proved to be paradise. Designed with a mix of cool stone, warm wood and black pools everything centered around endless sight lines out to the sea. Basically, pure peace with the brightest, bluest water, whitest sand and most serene days.”

“For spring break I headed to Seoul for fashion week. The trip was partly business, as a collaboration I’ve done with Korean makeup brand Here just launched there, but also stayed a bit longer to explore the city a bit and really kick back in the Shilla Hotel! I keep hearing a lot about ‘Seoulistas’ and a lot of new looks and trends coming out of this city, so I was excited to see it all first-hand.”

“We love the Faena Hotel Miami Beach. This amazing oceanfront hotel has been conceived by Alan Faena and designed by award-winning film producer Baz Luhrmann (we love him). The hotel is located at the heart of Miami Beach within the six-block Faena District, a neighborhood of residences but also arts and culture venues and fine dining. For dinner our favorite spot is Cecconis, this modern day classic Italian restaurant is located in the courtyard of Soho Beach House.”

“I’m taking the whole family and my best friend’s family to Uruguay. We will be going to our beach place close to Jose Ignacio. This is one of my favorite spots in the world. It’s five small huts on the waterfront that are rustic and comfortable at the same time. I can’t wait to wake up and see the sea.”

Uruguayan archaeologists try to demonstrate that the first European settlement in the South Cone was on the banks of the San Salvador River, in the department of Soriano, Uruguay in 1527. Venetian crystals and ceramics found where the San Salvador River reaches the Uruguay River are, according to experts, the evidence that after reaching the Caribbean coast, Uruguay was the first place where explorers settled in the continent.
