Like a Lady

From Carolina Herrera to Louis Vuitton, designers are proposing new-fashioned ways to look like a lady. After a few seasons of not buying dresses I am back on the hunt for pieces with feminine charm.

A printed dress is definitely a must this season, and this Thakoon shift is the one I would love to own. Thakoon Printed Sateen Dress, $1,650;

I am already a fan of Aerin beauty products, and now the brand is introducing great classic jewelry, all pieces you might see on the very chic Ms. Lauder herself. Aerin Erickson Beamon Day Essentials Gold Link Bracelet, $245;

Edward Enninful’s Skirt Story from our September issue – hitting newstands any minute now—inspired me to buy this skirt. Lulu&Co, $420;

I will gladly take any of the shoes from the Prada fall runway but I am particularly into those with gold accents. Prada, $890; Contact Prada: 212.334.8888

I am loving Claire Waight Keller’s feminine vision for Chloe. Chloe silk blouse, $895;

A little hint of pink appeared on many runways (I dedicated a page to the hue in our June/July issue) and this Zara coat caught me eye as well. Zara short woollen overcoat, $139;

I was a big fan of the heart prints at Burberry, particularly on this tote. Burberry, $2,195;

This patent loafer with heart detail is both quirky and feminine. Red Valentino Black Patent Bow Detail Loafers, $363;

I met the Colombian designer Paula Mendoza through a mutual friend. She was originally a sculptor but has been designing jewelry for the past couple of years; I really liked the way she wore this double ring on one finger. Paul Mendoza Ceto Ring, $250 and $210;

I recently discovered the Zodiac bags by Charlotte Olympia – and being an October baby I naturally I have my eye on a Libra one. Charlotte Olympia Pandora Libra Zodiac Clutch, $995;
