Despite the drizzle on Thursday night, the Chelsea galleries were a hive of activity, with crowds at Gagosian, Petzel, Hauser & Wirth, Paul Kasmin, and Andrea Rosen galleries spilling into the street. After a summer away, artists, gallerists, and collectors were eager to hit the streets and reconnect—and both see and be seen. Here, a glimpse at the deluge.
