If the Shoe Fits…
“In Ibiza, everyone goes to Hippy Market, where you can find vintage clothes, toys, handbags, little dresses— everything you could possibly need on the island. One woman has a stall of flower crowns. I spent more than an hour trying on every type of flower!”
“Every day when I was in Ibiza, a bunch of us would take a boat to nearby Formentera to go swimming. We perfected the art of the group selfie. Doesn’t it look like a cheerleading yearbook photo? Like, here’s the Spirit Squad of Ibiza, Class of 2014!”
“How adorable are these embroidered cloth bags? I picked them up at a flea market in Saint-Tropez. I bought 15— and I want more! Normally, packing is such a chore, but these make it so much easier and more fun. Not to mention, my suitcase looks happier as a result.”
“My photographer friend Giampaolo Sgura had a Hawaiian-theme birthday party on Mykonos. When I arrived, I was greeted by my good friend Marco Braga in full hula mode. Except that with those sandals he looked like a Hawaiian Mark Zuckerberg.”
“The driver on Mykonos who took us to Giampaolo’s party was wearing the most amazing hat. Quite fashion savvy of him, no? I had to borrow it and take a selfie.”
“I ran into Riccardo Tisci at the club DC-10 in Ibiza. And then I spotted this fake Givenchy hat. I was like, I’m going to buy it and wear it to DC-10, and, hopefully, I’ll run into Riccardo again. Maybe he’ll do a double take and wonder if he designed it!”
“The Cavo Tagoo hotel on Mykonos is so gorgeous; each room is very sexy, and some even have their own balcony and pool. Then I discovered the bathrobes, which all say after sex! How genius is that? Can you think of a better thing to put on when you wake up?”
