Naomi Campbell Lit Up the Runway at Tommy Hilfiger
The casting at Tommy Hilfiger‘s fall 2020 London Fashion Week show blew all other model lineups out of the water. The see-now-buy-now presentation showcasing a collaboration between Lewis Hamilton and the musician H.E.R. didn’t reinvent the wheel—streetwear-inspired pieces including hoodies, bomber jackets, and mesh shirts were worn over sports bras. Nor were the accessories like bucket hats and neon backpacks anything to write home about. But when Naomi Campbell opened the show while a crew of live singers rapped and danced behind her, the performance took on new life. Luka Sabbat, Lindsey Wixson (who has been creeping away from her claims of retirement this Fashion Month), Winnie Harlow, Georgia Jagger, and many more walked. In classic Tommy Hilfiger fashion, they all flooded the runway at once for final looks, with Tommy himself leading the pack.
