Do As Natalie Does

After Natalie Massenet’s abrupt departure in September 2015 from Net-a-Porter, the mega-million dollar company she founded 15 years ago, the question on everyone’s mind was: what will Massenet do next? Not to worry—Massenet has kept plenty busy. As if chair of the British Fashion Council isn’t royal enough, she’s been made a dame by Queen Elizabeth II for her contributions to the U.K. economy. She’s also been quietly plotting her next move, registering a new company under her name, called Imaginary Ventures Ltd., back in October 2015. But she is currently subject to a non-compete agreement that stops her from putting thing into action until September 2016. Until then, Massenet has been jet-setting around the world and documenting it on her Instagram account, @nat_mass (formerly @nataporter). From her African safari in Kenya to her holiday retreat in Sweden with her stunning daughter Isabella, here’s the Massenet guide to fabulous living.

1

Where to safari:

Kenya. Massenet recently joined a pack of fashion friends, including Giovanna Battaglia and Sara Battaglia, and her beau Erik Torstensson, on an African safari in Kenya. “Most magical holiday ever,” says Massenet.

2

Where to ski:

Verbier, one of the best off-piste ski resorts in the world, in southwestern Switzerland. “Verbier hottest in 150 years…wonder why,” says Massenet.

3

Where to drink coffee in London:

Cru Kafe in Notting Hill. “London’s best coffee shop. Organic coffee has never been so chic.”

4

Where to holiday with your daughter:

Ett Hem hotel, a luxury boutique spa retreat in Sweden. Massenet and her daughter Isabella enjoyed the carb-heavy breakfasts and celebrated one the Scandinavian nation’s biggest holidays, St. Lucia, here in December. “We will miss these Swedish breakfasts,” she said in an Instagram post.

Where to weekend:

Wiltshire. Massenet and a few of her other model friends, including Caroline Winberg, packed their wellies and headed to this charming English countryside region for a rustic weekend retreat. “What a weekend! Thank you @nataporter @eriktorstensson,” said Winberg in an Insta post from their short holiday.
