“I went to Balloon Saloon in TriBeCa looking for some decorations for a friend’s birthday party and fell for this pirate [left]. I wanted to take him shopping with me afterward in SoHo, but he wouldn’t fit in a taxi. Maybe I’ll go back and invite him out to dinner in the neighborhood instead.”

“While doing research online, I stumbled upon this poster for a Serge Diaghilev Ballets Russes production of Le Tricorne, with costumes and sets designed by Pablo Picasso. What an amazing collaboration!”

“For his resort presentation, Marc Jacobs had his models sit on striped rabbit-fur pillows. I like the idea of fur in warm weather! How outrageous would it be to go on holiday somewhere really hot and take them to the beach? I’d wear these Fendi fur-trimmed shoes while lounging on the pillows.”

“Shaun Joseph Stewart, a creative director, turned my name into a logo inspired by a Prada print. It’s so charming, I wish I could make a bag with it!”
