Paris Fashion Week’s eccentric makeup looks were a far departure from the minimalist, bare-faced runways of Spring 2017, thanks to makeup artists like Pat McGrath and Tom Pecheux who brought back color to the runway. From the pastel purple eyebrows at Maison Margiela and the maroon cat eyes at Valentino, to the metallic smoky eye and lip cuffs at Balmain and the drawn out metallic eye at Chanel, here’s a closer look at the best fall beauty trends from Paris.

At Valentino, makeup artist Pat McGrath paired an exaggerated maroon cat eye with a satin burgundy lip.

Models wore a sleek up do with rosy cheeks and a modern white cat eye at the Kenzo Fall/Winter 2017 show.
