JANE'S ADDICTION

Peak Performance

Parasol UPF 50 Active Ombré Swim Shirt

Skiing first drew me to the Rocky Mountains, but I love hiking and cycling there in the summer, too. I’ll be doing both with Aspen Alpine Guides’ Leave the Boys Behind program, which specializes in women-only mountain treks and bike rides along winding roads. I plan to end each day with a massage or a facial at the cozy Auberge Spa in the Hotel Jerome. Here’s what I’ll pack for my trip.

1

This UV-shielding shirt is so cute, I’ll wear it in—and out of—the water.

Parasol UPF 50 Active Ombré Swim Shirt, $140, neimanmarcus .com.

2

The slightly nubbed inner soles of these shoes offer a subtle foot massage—heaven after a long day of hiking.

Reebok Crossfit Nanossage, $65, reebok.com.

3

Despite its high SPF, this whipped formula feels really light on the skin and has just enough pigment to even out flaws.

MDSolarSciences MD Crème Mineral Beauty Balm SPF 50, $39, mdsolarsciences.com.

4

This sunscreen protects my hair’s precious (read: expensive!) color with coconut oil and cinnamic acid. I love how quickly it disappears into my tresses.

Sachajuan Hair in the Sun, $29, jcrew.com.

5

Shea and olive butters mixed with vegetable glycerin help prevent biking’s big downside: the dreaded chafe.

Rapha Chamois Cream, $20, rapha .cc.

6

A gardenia-scented spritz provides a lovely post-exercise cooldown.

Essence of Beauty Modern Floral Body Mist, $7, cvs.com.

7

This alum stone, blood orange, and rosemary formula is all natural and works just as well as drugstore deodorant.

Le Couvent des Minimes Eau des Minimes Everyday Deodorant, $14, lecouventdesminimes.com.

8

Perfect for mid-ride reapplications, it won’t grease up my hands—or my handlebars.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face & Body Stick SPF 70 with Helioplex, $10, ulta.com.
