Wiz Khalifa, Grimes, and More Document Roskilde Festival in Denmark

For the first time since 2009, by early June Danish music festival Roskilde had sold out of its 80,000 tickets. And despite the grim forecast for the eight-day festival (this year, it’s taking place from June 25 to July 3), musicians, models, actors, and street style stars all showed up right on schedule, armed with their finest rainwear to combat the drizzle. With headliners including Wiz Khalifa and PJ Harvey, and a lineup that also includes Hinds, Grimes, Little Simz, D∆WN, Aurora, and more pop acts of the moment, it’s easy to see why the festival has become such a pilgrimage site for not only Scandinavians (as it once was), but an international crowd seeking an eclectic array of favorite acts. The musicians and festival-goers alike (and the musicians who doubled as festival-goers between acts) captured the atmosphere on the ground at Roskilde, in case you weren’t one of the lucky 80,000 to nab tickets before they vanished.
