Food for Thought
Writers serialize novels in Yelp reviews and actresses diversify via cooking blogs, so why wouldn’t artists have something to say about the indomitable encroachment of foodie culture? “Today’s Specials,” a group exhibition with a cheeky attitude toward our current slavishness to food at Pace Gallery in London, is a reminder that while artists will always try to take the piss, they don’t always need to be starving.
“Today’s Specials” is on view through September 6 at Pace London, 6 Burlington Gardens.
