JANE'S ADDICTION

Oil Change

Holly Beth Organics Face and Neck Elixir

Face oils are skincare saviors during a frosty, windy winter. Here, W’s beauty director shares her four favorites for every time of day.

1

After I wash my face in the morning, I massage Tata Harper Beautifying Oil ($48, tataharperskincare.com) into my skin, leave the excess on the palms of my hands then pat it onto my cheeks after I apply my makeup.

2

I keep a bottle of HollyBeth Organics Face and Neck Elixir ($75, hollybethorganics.com) at my desk for when the office air feels particularly dry. I pat some of it against my face and hold my hands there for a few seconds. Bonus: the rose and geranium essential oils have a calming aroma.

3

The rich blend of avocado oil, geranium oil, turmeric oil and—wait for it—coffee oil (who knew?) in S.W. Basics new Oil Serum ($29, swbasicsofbk.com) helps protect my skin against the harsh elements. I dab a drop or two on my cheeks, nose and chin before I head out into the cold, and any leftover excess gets rubbed into my hair ends.

4

After cleansing at night, it’s time for the serious stuff, so I rely on Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil ($42, shen-beauty.com). Using it with pressure-point massage techniques guarantees waking up with a very nice glow.
