The Best of New York Fashion Week Fall 2015

Coach Fall 2015 “Coach might want to consider investing in a sheep farm—for Fall 2015 designer Stuart Vevers turned out a so many great shearling coats, vests, and jackets (most of them paired with kicky skirts, motorcycle boots, and jaunty bags emblazoned with words like “Wanted” and “Lucky”) it was hard to pick a favorite, but this one is definitely in the top three.” – Alix Browne

Rachel Comey Fall 2015 “By now Rachel Comey’s fashion week dinner and runway show is practically an institution, but the designer continues to keep the event lively with the mix of guests (Monica Lewinsky rubbed shoulders with Cindy Sherman), choice of entertainment (Madame Hiver—aka Tracee Ross—delivered a vagina-filled monologue between courses), and, not least, her fab clothes, like this look topped off with the perfect navy car coat.” – Alix Browne

Kanye West x Adidas Originals Yeezy Season 1 “Between the high-wattage front-row (Rihanna, P-Diddy, Drake, and Jay-Z, just for starters), the Vanessa Beecroft performance, the deafening sound of Kanye’s new track “Wolves,” and a crying North West (whom Beyoncé tried to comfort, to no avail, with a lullaby) there was a lot to take in at Yeezy’s debut of his Season 1 collaboration with Adidas Originals—and that was before even checking out the clothes: stripped-down, gym-to-G4 basics that mashed references from Raf Simons to vintage Margiela.” – Karin Nelson
