The 75 Year Dance
What: American Ballet Theatre’s 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Spring Gala, sponsored by Escada.
When: Monday, May 18th
Where: A performance interspersing works from over seven decades of ballet with film excerpts of historic performances and interviews. The over 1,100 guests then headed to an adjacent tented area for dinner and dancing.
Who: Lauren Santo Domingo; Sigourney Weaver; the models Jessica Stam, Hailey Clauson and Coco Rocha; and any balletomane within a 10-mile radius.
Why: Anniversaries are a dime a dozen in both fashion and the arts, but 75 years deserves some serious celebrating.
