Baccarat plays house for a worthy cause.

Baccarat decorates the New York Holiday House

For the seventh consecutive year, Baccarat decked the halls of New York’s Holiday House, an annual showhouse benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Held in the Academy mansion on the Upper East Side, this year’s showcase brought together a talented group of designers including Lillian August and Ally Coulter for Fendi Casa, each of them transforming one of the historic rooms into a seasonal wonderland. To decorate the monumental parlor on the ground floor, Baccarat enlisting the help of designer Amy Lau, who created a bejeweled dining space inspired by the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles. Overflowing with sparkling creations including a chandelier, side tables, and chairs—all rendered in Baccarat’s signature crystal—Lau’s Marie Antoinette-worthy space served as a decadent finale to year of celebrations in honor of the luxury brand’s 250th anniversary. Baccarat will now auction off the pieces, with part of the proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Crystal-cravers better act fast—bidding ends tonight.
