I am downright giddy with excitement that on August 1st, I will be devoting the entire day to enlightening as many people as I possibly can on the genius that is Tom Ford Beauty. That’s right, this Thursday Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City will be hosting its second annual Beauty Editors Day, where virtually every beauty counter will be manned by a beauty editor. WHO KNOWS WHAT WILL HAPPEN?

I CAN tell you what will happen chez Ford, though. For $30, not only will you receive a makeover with products from the Fall collection; you’ll also be the first to get your hands on two of his new Nail Lacquers and Lip Colours (valued at $158!). But that’s not all! W’s beauty editor Katie Becker and I will share our favorite beauty looks from the Fall 2013 runway and offer up tips on how to get them. The best part? PHILANTHROPY!! All proceeds from the event will be donated to Look Good Feel Better, a program that helps cancer patients cope with the appearance-related side effects of treatment.
