What does the woman who seems to have it all want for Christmas? If anyone would know the answer to that, it’s supermodel, baker, and expert coder Karlie Kloss. For the record, she would love a trip to space or an African safari. But the former Victoria’s Secret Angel – she didn’t wear her wings this year – also has lots of practical gifts on her wish list this year, including socks and a new set of measuring cups. As part of a new partnership with eBay, she’s hoping to help everyone out this holiday season with gift ideas for every person on your list (and maybe even give you some ideas for things to add to your own wish list), from the foodie to the decor obsessive. Kloss spoke with W about what she’s hoping to get this Christmas and her trusted gifting strategy. Simply put, “keep it practical and related to the person’s interests.”

What’s your favorite holiday tradition? Spending time in the kitchen with loved ones. Multiple generations of our family always come together in the kitchen to bake and eat. It’s the best way to spend the holidays.

What’s your favorite holiday gift you have ever received? I love gifts that are really practical and relate to the person’s interests. For example, I love all the kitchen and baking gear I’ve received over the years because they are things I use on a regular basis and remind me of the person who gave them to me. I try to apply that to my own gift giving and pick out things I know the person will use, like a fitness tracker for someone who loves to work out or a spiralizer for someone who loves to cook.

Who is the hardest person in your life to pick out a gift for? My high school friends and I exchange gifts over the holidays, and I’m always searching for the perfect present for each of them. Luckily with social media, it’s easy to find inspiration when you’re stumped on a gift. For example, eBay recently launched a new Twitter campaign called #GiftGoals, which allows you to browse gift collections based on people’s interests and personalities. It also provides conversation topics and questions you can ask your friends and family to get a better sense of what they would like.

What the most luxurious or outrageous thing on your wish list? A trip to space or an African safari.

What’s the most practical thing on your wish list? I’m always in need of new socks.

What’s the most unexpected thing your wish list this year? Nintendo NES Classic to play old school video games!

Food or baking related gadgets you are excited to get or give?

I would love to get a new set of measuring cups and measuring spoons that match.

Cool travel gadgets you are excited about? Wireless headphones. They’re great for flights and don’t take up too much space in my suitcase when I’m packing.

Where are you traveling over the holidays? St. Louis to spend time with family.

What do you find most stressful about the holidays? Traveling! I never seem to avoid flights delays or traffic when I’m on my way home.

What movies, TV shows, or podcasts are you excited to binge on to over the holidays? I’m planning to catch up on Netflix and binge watch “The Crown,” “Chef’s Table” and other documentaries when I’m home.
